On the morning of October 8, Russian troops struck Kharkiv again, as a result of which the city was hit by several rocket attacks. The mayor informed about it Igor Terekhov and the head of the regional military administration Oleg Sinegubov. According to their information, the type of weapon from which the fire was fired is currently being established.
Preliminary data indicate that a civilian enterprise was damaged, although this information is still being clarified. According to Synegubov, 21 people were injured as a result of the shelling, one of them is in serious condition. Three victims were hospitalized.
At the site of the impact, in the destroyed premises, rescuers found at least two people under the rubble. The operation to rescue them is ongoing. Blue Lips added, that the blow was inflicted on the Industrial district of Kharkiv, where several production facilities are located.
This shelling was a continuation of a series of attacks on the city and region. We will remind, on the evening of October 2, Kharkiv was hit by five aerial bombs, as a result of which 12 people were injured. And on October 6, the city and the region were again bombarded by aircraft.
In addition, on the evening of October 7, Russian forces launched an attack on the port infrastructure of Odesa, using ballistic missiles. Then one Ukrainian died, and five foreign citizens were injured.
