Zelensky outlined the key tasks of Ukraine for the fall

Ukraine has already begun to implement the agreements reached last week with international partners, and the main priority today is strengthening the country’s position and protecting the population from Russian attacks. About this stated President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
“We have already started working to fulfill all the agreements with partners that we received this week. Ramstein meetings, meetings in Germany, meetings in Italy. Separately, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine and our military worked in France, Britain, and also in Germany We are very much looking forward to the outcome of the conversation with the Secretary of Defense of the United States, Austin.”, – said Zelensky in his evening video address on Sunday.
The President also emphasized the importance of recent talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Maloney and the US Congressional delegation, during which Ukraine’s victory plan and its individual details were discussed.
Zelenskyi added that the Ukrainian side will provide a full action plan to US President Joe Biden, as well as to both presidential candidates – Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
“The main thing for us now, at the beginning of autumn, is to maximally strengthen the positions of Ukraine and Ukrainians, the protection of our cities and villages from Russian terror and, of course, more opportunities for our soldiers at the front. These include Pokrovsk, Toretsk, the Kurakhiv direction and other points of the greatest concentration of Russian forces”, – emphasized Zelensky.
He also reported on the agreements reached regarding the supply of ammunition for Ukraine, financing of the production of weapons, drones and missiles in the country. Strengthening the air defense system also remains a priority, and Ukraine continues to convince its partners of the importance of supplying long-range weapons.
Zelensky thanked everyone who provides assistance to Ukraine, in particular, the partners who made important decisions at the Ramstein meeting. The President noted the support of Germany, the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Romania, Lithuania and Latvia.
