Zelenskyy announced a new round of negotiations on a ceasefire in Ukraine

Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced a new round of negotiations on the ceasefire in Ukraine, which should take place on Wednesday, April 23. Representatives of Ukraine, the USA, Britain and France will meet in London to discuss the conditions for an unconditional ceasefire.

“I just spoke with the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Keir Starmer. A good and detailed conversation. Already on Wednesday, our representatives will work in London. Ukraine, Britain, France, the United States”, – noted Zelensky.

The President emphasized that an unconditional ceasefire should be the first step on the way to peace, and the events of this Easter proved that it is Russia’s actions that are prolonging the war.

“We are ready to move forward as constructively as possible to achieve an unconditional ceasefire, further ensuring the establishment of a real and lasting peace. Thank you to all partners who are helping.” – he explained.

Zelenskyi and Starmer also discussed joint activities within European security formats.

We will remind that on April 19, some mass media reported that an agreement on a full and comprehensive ceasefire in Ukraine could be reached this week in London.
