President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi stated, which offered Yulia Svyridenko, the first deputy prime minister, to head the Cabinet of Ministers and carry out its deep transformation. As the head of state noted, the government plans to present a new program of actions soon.
“We are starting the transformation of the system of executive power in Ukraine. I offered Yulia Svyridenko to lead the government of Ukraine and significantly update its work. I look forward to the presentation of the action program of the new government in the near future.”, — said Zelenskyi.
During the meeting with Svyridenko, key vectors of future work were discussed. She provided a report on the state of implementation of the agreements reached during the conference on the restoration of Ukraine, in particular, regarding cooperation with European and American partners. Zelenskyi emphasized that the implementation of these obligations should happen quickly in order to strengthen the stability of the state.
Svyridenko also reported on the results of the implementation of international agreements aimed at supporting Ukraine, and discussed with the president further steps to strengthen the economy, strengthen social programs and increase the volume of defense production. In this context, the process of reforming the executive branch of government has already started.
We will remind, on July 13, Volodymyr Zelensky, summarizing the meeting with Denys Shmyhal, announced the future management transformation, the goal of which is to reduce the costs of maintaining the state apparatus and reorient the greatest possible number of resources to the needs of the defense of Ukraine.
“The government has prepared an update of state support for our people. The modernization of payments at the birth of a child, as well as support for mothers during the first years after the birth of a child, is being prepared for approval. The details will be announced tomorrow by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.”, – noted Zelensky.
