“A decade ahead”: Syrskyi reported on reforms in the Armed Forces

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrsky, informed about the active work on improving the structures of military management. The key goals are to increase the effectiveness of the military command system, eliminate duplication of functions, and form the Unmanned Systems Force.
About this reported Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi.
“We continue to improve the structures of military management. Our main task is to make the military command system more efficient and eliminate duplication of functions“, – noted Syrskyi.
These measures are implemented within the framework of the strategy for the development of types and separate branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine until 2035 and are aimed at creating a perspective structure of the Armed Forces for the period before joining NATO.
“In addition, optimization of the staffing structure of the units of the General Staff continues. In particular, their number is decreasing and they are getting rid of extraneous functions. Thanks to this, the military management bodies that command the troops in the areas of hostilities have already been strengthened“, Sirsky noted.
According to him, for the first time, Ukraine is planning “a decade ahead”.
The announcement of reforms in the Armed Forces appeared against the background of reports of continued offensive actions by the Russian occupiers in the Kharkiv and Kupyan areas, in particular in Vovchansk and on the approaches to Chasovoy Yar.
