Ukraine increased its trade turnover by USD 10 billion
In 10 months of 2024, Ukraine’s trade turnover reached $92 billion, up by $10.1 billion in October alone. This was reported by the press service of the State Customs Service on 8 November.
According to the data, in January-October 2024, the volume of imports to Ukraine amounted to $57.4 billion, and exports – $34.6 billion.
The main importing countries to Ukraine were China ($11.6 billion), Poland ($5.6 billion) and Germany ($4.4 billion).
Most Ukrainian products were exported to Poland ($4 billion), Germany ($2.4 billion), and Spain ($2.4 billion).
Imported goods consisted of the following categories:
- machinery, equipment and transport ($20.3 billion)
- chemical products ($9.3 billion);
- fuel and energy products ($8.7 billion), which together accounted for 65% of total imports.
Among the main goods exported from Ukraine, the largest volumes were:
- food products ($20.3 billion)
- metals and metal products ($3.8 billion)
- machinery, equipment and transport ($2.9 billion).
It is also reported that during the customs clearance of exports of goods subject to export duties, the state budget received UAH 251.7 million in 10 months of 2024.
