A tender in the amount of $11,606,125 00 has been issued on the Prozorro platform for logistical support of Ukrainian Antarctic expeditions

On the Prozorro platform, a tender has been issued for a complex service for logistical support of Ukrainian Antarctic expeditions using the research oceanographic vessel “Noosphere” (IMO No. 8904496). Its price without VAT is 11 million 606 thousand 125 dollars (64 million 301 thousand 494 hryvnias).

These funds are planned to be spent on the purchase of material and technical means, fuel and lubricants, food products for the participants of the Antarctic expeditions and the Ukrainian Antarctic station “Akademik Vernadskyi”, as well as on ensuring the delivery of the participants of the Ukrainian Antarctic expeditions to the ship, etc.
Among the products ordered for the participants of the expedition are 118 kg of fillet and 140 kg of salmon steak, 28 kilograms of octopus, 5040 chicken eggs, 168 bottles of red and 112 bottles of white wine, 4 kilograms of caviar, etc.
The customer in the tender is the State Institution National Antarctic Science Center, which is headed by former deputy platoon commander of the 24th BTO Aidar Yevhen Dyky. He is a supporter of strict mobilization, he recently stated: “if evaders start gathering in groups, the veterans will “wipe them out so that there will be no room left.”
In response to widespread public dissatisfaction with such expenses, Dykyi said on his Facebook page that he received such hate because he was the first to talk about “totally tolerated evasion” and “failed mobilization.”
“Sharia was outraged by the fact that we normally feed winterers, and in particular buy them – oh horror! – some wine and chocolate. Slightly?! But there it is about 168 bottles of red, 112 bottles of white, and 28 bottles of sparkling wine! What a horror, this is total alcoholism at the expense of taxpayers!!! And from so many sweets you can get diabetes, and anyway, what kind of sweet life is this in the middle of the polar night?!
Ugh. We take into account that this is a purchase for the entire winter, that is, once a year. We pick up a calculator, perform simple operations, and get:
- Wine of all types together – 45 grams per person per day, or 316 grams per person per week; that is, yes, a Ukrainian polar explorer can once at the end of the working week drink as many as two kelushkas (not even granchaks, but kelushkas) of dry wine;
- 10 grams of chocolate per day;
- Candies and candy bars, respectively, 4 grams and 14 grams per day.” – wrote Dyky on the social network.
We will remind that in 2022, 1.5 million dollars have already been allocated for the expedition to the Antarctic, in 2023 – more than 11.7 million dollars.
A tender at the price of UAH 50,199.60 was also announced for the purchase of national flags for the Ukrainian Antarctic station “Akademik Vernadskyi” and the research oceanographic vessel “Noosphere”.
