FBI Director Asks Congress to Investigate How Money Provided to Ukraine Was Spent

The head of the FBI, Kesh Patel, asked the US Congress to conduct an investigation into the use of funds provided to Ukraine. About this informs The Epoch Times.

According to the director of the FBI, the United States cannot fully trust Volodymyr Zelensky because he allegedly does not explain where this money is going:

“Our money was used against us, against American servicemen and our allies, particularly in Afghanistan. I’m afraid that now we are moving in the same direction. We didn’t even touch the other things that were transferred to Ukraine – now it’s just about money. I asked Congress to find out exactly where these funds went. The American people have a right to know, because these are their tax dollars.”

Kesh Patel noted that it is not only a matter of allocating one billion dollars, but that the total amount of aid to Ukraine is several times higher than this figure. He emphasized that if Zelensky applies for additional financial assistance and military equipment, then he should be responsible in his international statements, which could aggravate the situation.

“We cannot fully trust a leader who is given $100 billion and says, ‘I’m not going to tell you where the money went.’ – emphasized Patel.
