ARMA inspected the Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant, which belongs to Kolomoisky

Employees of the South-Eastern Interregional Territorial Department of the Agency for Search and Asset Management (ARMA) conducted an inspection of the property transferred to the management of JSC Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant. About this informs ARMA press office.

“The property of the enterprise was transferred in accordance with the decision of the investigative judge of the Shevchenkivskiy District Court of the city of Kyiv dated December 27, 2024. The decision was made within the framework of criminal proceedings related to the appropriation of state funds in 2014 by officials of PJSC CB “Privatbank”, among whom appear former shareholders of the bank, in particular the well-known oligarch Ihor Kolomoiskyi and his entourage”, – says the message.

The pre-trial investigation established that in 2014 officials of PJSC CB “Privatbank” appropriated the funds of the National Bank of Ukraine, allocated for refinancing, in the amount of more than 19 billion hryvnias. This became possible thanks to the conclusion of dubious credit agreements, which were secured by property rights to goods and assets, including the Nikopol ferroalloy plant.

After the review is completed, an appropriate report will be prepared, on the basis of which ARMA will organize tenders for the selection of an appraiser and manager of this asset, as well as conduct market consultations. After that, the asset will be put up on the “Prozorro” platform, where all interested parties will be able to participate in the auction for the right to manage it.
