Biden hopes that military aid to Ukraine will continue during the Trump presidency

US President Joe Biden expressed hope that Congress will not stop military aid to Ukraine, even during the presidency of Donald Trump. That’s what he’s about stated during a speech on the US economy and labor market.

“I know there are a significant number of Democrats and Republicans on the Hill who believe that we should continue to support Ukraine. I hope and expect that they will speak up and disagree with the president if he decides to cut off funding for Ukraine.”, — noted Biden.

He also emphasized the serious economic and political problems Russia faced due to the war and Western sanctions. Biden emphasized that it is important not to give Vladimir Putin the opportunity to rest so that he cannot continue the aggression.

“Putin has economic problems, significant economic problems, as well as political problems at home,” – believes the US president.

Biden assured that he is using all the resources and powers available to him to provide Ukraine with the support necessary to protect its independence.
