During his presidency, Volodymyr Zelenskyy made 134 foreign trips, 48 of which were in 2025.

Since the beginning of 2025, in less than five months, the President of Ukraine has visited 18 countries. In total, since the beginning of the presidency in 2019, he has made 134 foreign trips, of which 48 visits were made in the last 12 months alone. Such data made public in the material of the British publication The Times, which traced the intensity of diplomatic activity of the Ukrainian leader in the conditions of war.
Among all countries, Germany was the most frequent destination for the Ukrainian president. Since 2019, Zelensky has visited this country 11 times. It is not only one of the leading countries of the EU, but also a key player in the formation of the European security architecture after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. It is in Berlin and at German security conferences that the topics of military support, arms supply, economic aid and post-war reconstruction of Ukraine are most often discussed.
France was in second place in terms of the number of visits — 10 trips. Paris and Kyiv closely cooperate at the level of political leadership, especially in the context of European security, support of Ukraine in international organizations and joint participation in formats such as the G7 or the European Political Community. French President Emmanuel Macron remains one of Zelensky’s key interlocutors in the search for solutions for long-term peace, security guarantees and defense cooperation.
The United States rounded out the top three, hosting the Ukrainian president 9 times. Each visit to Washington was full of multi-level meetings — from negotiations with US presidents to speeches before Congress and meetings with the leadership of defense structures. The US remains the main supplier of military, financial and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The frequency of visits demonstrates the level of coordination between Kyiv and Washington, especially in the context of bipartisan support amid pre-election changes in the US.
