Ukraine exported more than 6.7 million tons of grain

Since the beginning of the 2024/2025 marketing year, as of the end of August, Ukraine exported 6.746 million tons of grain and leguminous crops. This information provided by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

As for specific crops, Ukraine has already exported 3.387 million tons of wheat, which is significantly more than last year, when this figure was 1.773 million tons. Barley exports increased even more to 1.902 million tons compared to 460,000 tons last year. The shipment of rye decreased slightly, amounting to 0.3 thousand tons against 0.6 thousand tons last year. At the same time, corn exports increased to 2.241 million tons compared to 1.916 million tons in the previous year.

It is also worth noting that the export of flour decreased: this year it amounted to only 10.5 thousand tons against 20.8 thousand tons in the same period of the last marketing year. This indicates certain changes in the export dynamics of Ukrainian agricultural products, which may be caused by various factors, including changes in global markets, domestic politics or weather conditions.
