From April 1, the Pension Fund of Ukraine will transfer payments to working pensioners

From April 1, the Pension Fund of Ukraine will automatically recalculate pensions for working pensioners. There is no need to contact the institution in this regard. About this informs press service of PFU.
The recalculation will be carried out for those citizens who, after the appointment or preliminary recalculation of the pension, continued to work and as of March 1, 2025, have at least 24 months of insurance experience. Payments to those who have worked for less than 24 months, but two years have passed since the appointment or the last recalculation, will also be reviewed.
If there are 24 months of insurance experience, the recalculation will take place taking into account the acquired experience. At the same time, both the previously calculated earnings and the income received after the appointment or preliminary recalculation of the pension can be taken into account, depending on the expediency.
If the length of service is less than 24 months, the pension will be transferred no earlier than two years after the last appointment or transfer, taking into account only the accumulated insurance experience.
In total, there are about 2.8 million working pensioners in Ukraine. According to the Ministry of Social Policy, this year’s recount will cover 629,000 of them. Payments with the updated amount of the pension will be received from June – taking into account the additional payment for April and May. The procedure takes place automatically, so there is no need to contact the Pension Fund.
