The Cabinet of Ministers made an important decision to acquire a roaming “visa-free regime” with the EU
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine made an important decision, which is part of the process of acquiring a roaming “visa-free” visa with the European Union (EU). About this stated Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during the government meeting.
Shmyhal noted that Ukraine daily confirms its historical choice in favor of Europe and fights for its own and European freedom. According to him, the state went from submitting an application for EU membership to opening pre-accession negotiations in the shortest possible time.
“Within sectoral integration, the so-called “visa-free visas” from the EU are key: trade, transport, energy, customs, digital. We strive to consolidate these gains on a permanent basis, and we are also working on obtaining an industrial “visa-free visa”. Today, we are making an important decision, which is part of the acquisition of a roaming “visa-free” visa with the European Union.” – added the Prime Minister.
We will remind that in February 2023, the European Commission included roaming in the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. Later, the European Council supported the accession of Ukraine to the free roaming area of the European Union.
