Government dismisses deputy head of the Ministry of Justice Olena Vysotska and appoints deputies to the Recovery Agency

At its meeting on October 25, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine implemented large-scale personnel changes that affected key ministries and agencies. About this reported Government representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.
In particular, Olena Vysotska, the deputy minister of justice for the penitentiary system, who was responsible for the activities of the penal institutions, was dismissed. Her resignation became an important event, as Vysotska played a significant role in reforming the penitentiary system of Ukraine in recent years.
At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed new officials to the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine, which is engaged in the implementation of infrastructure projects. Thus, Mykola Boyko became the first deputy head of the agency, while Vyacheslav Didkivskyi and Yuriy Sverba were appointed to the positions of deputies. These changes are expected to strengthen the agency, which is currently key to rebuilding Ukraine’s infrastructure.
In addition, the government decided to dismiss a number of state secretaries in three ministries. Thus, Natalia Zapolska was dismissed from the position of State Secretary of the Ministry of Strategic Industries, Viktor Kantsurak from the position of State Secretary of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, and Dmytro Slobodianyuk from the position of State Secretary of the Ministry of Health.
At the same time, Viktor Kantsurak received a new appointment as the first deputy head of the National Social Service of Ukraine, which is an important direction in the social sphere. The temporary performance of the duties of the state secretary in the Ministry of Strategic Industries is entrusted to Vitaly Pavlov, in the Ministry of Agrarian Policy – to Bagrat Akhidzhanov, and in the Ministry of Health – to Elena Andriets.
