Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, Danylo Hetmantsev offers introduce military spending censorship and distribute guaranteed ER concessional funding of $50 billion over three years instead of a year.
According to Hetmantsev, the financial situation of Ukraine directly depends on international politics. Therefore, in his opinion, the country should critically review and consolidate all available domestic financial resources, “counting every penny.”
“For the state, in the end, it is hard to stop the shadow and corruption. Clean the thieves from power. They are enemies, worse than the Russians. Start evaluating the work of fiscals and law enforcement officers by the fact of destroying the shadow, by the result in revenue figures, and not by the number of criminal cases initiated. Remove any profanity”, he noted.
Hetmantsev believes that only thanks to the effective work of the State Tax Service in 2025, Ukraine can easily get more than $4 billion from detinization, and with a more active approach – even more.
“And introduce military expenditure censorship. We cannot allow the senseless spending of funds on experiments by individual ministers, such as the failed cashback, which gave an “increase” in GDP less than a statistical error. We must extend the guaranteed preferential financing of $50 billion not for a year, but for three years.” Hetmantsev emphasized.
