Pensions will no longer be indexed in 2024, but some pensioners will still receive additional payments in December. These will be both regular allowances and one-time payments. Pension Fund of Ukraine explained, who and what additional payments will be able to receive this month.
Retirees who turn 70, 75 or 80 in November will receive a pension supplement. This supplement is assigned to those whose pension amount does not exceed 10,340.35 hryvnias. The amount of the allowance depends on age: after 70 years — 300 hryvnias per month, after 75 years — 456 hryvnias, and after 80 years — 570 hryvnias per month.
In addition, December will be the last month that retirees participating in the UN aid program will receive payments. This program has been in effect since August 2023 and covers pensioners from regions that, according to the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, are at risk of hostilities or in active conflict zones.
Citizens whose pension does not exceed 3,250 hryvnias and who did not receive financial support from international organizations after March 1, 2023 are eligible for assistance. These payments are calculated automatically based on data from the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
