Time-delayed cluster munitions, which were probably scattered during a night drone attack on the capital, exploded near Kyiv. A woman was injured as a result of the explosions. About this informs Oleksandr Popovtsev, head of the Shevchenkiv District State Administration.
“Today, explosions of timed cluster munitions were recorded in the Darnytskyi district, in the Bortnychi microdistrict,” Popovtsev said.
According to him, these shells could have remained after the night strike of drones. As a result of the explosion, an elderly woman, a resident of Darnytskyi district, was injured. Popovtsev appealed to residents to be as careful as possible and, if possible, stay in safe places – shelters or basements. If suspicious objects are found, he advised not to approach them, move to a safe distance, notify the police and rescuers, and specify the exact location of the find.
“In the Darnytsky district of Kyiv, teams of pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service are working. Access to the territory, which is potentially dangerous for citizens, is limited to police officers. We ask that you understand these temporary measures and follow the recommendations of the rescuers and the police. The main thing: do not touch unknown objects. If you find such, report to line 101 or 102.”, — clarified in the State Emergency Service.
