On the night of February 19, the Russians launched a massive drone attack on a densely populated area of Odessa. Many explosions were heard in the city during the attack, hundreds of houses were left without electricity and heat. About this informs the mayor of the city Gennadiy Trukhanov.
“As a result of the enemy attack, 14 schools, 13 kindergartens and a large residential area – more than 500 houses – were left without electricity and heating. Specialists are already assessing the consequences and determining how long it will take to eliminate them. The children’s polyclinic and the kindergarten were significantly damaged.” – says the message.
So far, we know of one victim, he was given the necessary help in the hospital. Today, educational institutions that lack heat and light will not accept children. Heating points and unbreakable points will work.
“We are deploying tents. In the morning, the district administration will start accepting applications from residents of damaged apartments. Communal services will eliminate the consequences of the attack.”Trukhanov added.
