In Ukraine, there are more than 1,400 expert teams for the assessment of human functioning, which have replaced the work of the MSEC. This is based on the results of a meeting with the Minister of Health, the Minister of Social Policy, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and the Director of the State Employment Service reported Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
“On January 1, the MSEK reform started, and there are already positive results. We listened to the Ministry of Health regarding the work done in its direction. Instead of the outdated MSEK, a network of 294 multidisciplinary hospitals was created, and more than 1,400 expert teams of 6,600 medical workers of all the necessary specialties were involved in the work.
Thanks to the digitization of the process, patients no longer need to collect a large number of certificates from different doctors, as information in electronic format is transferred between institutions and information systems of various fields.” Shmyhal noted.
At the meeting, those responsible for further coordination of the reform were determined.
“Now in the area of responsibility of the Ministry of Social Policy. We have to develop an approach that will help people get ample opportunities for rehabilitation and self-realization.” – stressed the prime minister.
According to him, the ministries received the necessary tasks in accordance with the defined procedure by the end of this year.
