International partners call on Ukraine to create an institute of business reputation

Ukraine should create an effective institute of business reputation for full entry into the European Union and confirmation of the level of democracy in the country. About it in the exclusive comments People’s Deputy Mykhailo Tsimbalyuk said for UNN.
“To introduce the institute of business reputation is an inevitable requirement of our time, of our partners. Otherwise, we will not see the European Union, and in general, then we will always be classified as a certain category of citizens with a level of under-democracy, and in general, this is an indicator of the level of relations in society.”, – noted Tsymbalyuk.
The deputy emphasized that the institute of business reputation should function mutually. In case of detection of violations on the part of the official, he must resign immediately. However, if the allegations are unfounded, the official’s reputation must be restored and those who made the false accusations must be held accountable.
Earlier it became known how the actions of one official can harm the reputation of a state body and even the image of the country. It is about Oleksandr Zyma, director of the legal department of the National Bank of Ukraine, who is under criminal investigation on suspicion of abuse of office.
The case concerns a letter of recommendation, signed by Zima, addressed to the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund. In it, he suggested withdrawing the lawsuits filed by Concord Bank against the NBU. The bank demanded cancellation of fines in the amount of about 63.5 million hryvnias. Lawsuits were filed even before the National Bank’s decision to liquidate Concord and introduce a temporary administration.
