Kharkiv was under a massive attack by ‘Shaheds’ in the morning: 20 hits have been recorded, and there are casualties.

On May 6, the Russian army carried out another massive UAV attack on Kharkiv, the shelling lasted from 4:00 a.m. for more than two hours. As reported city mayor Ihor Terekhov, as of 6:00 a.m., twenty shots were fired by “Shakheds”, four districts – Shevchenkivskyi, Kyivskyi, Kholodnohirskyi and Industrialnyi – were hit.
According to preliminary data, two people were injured, a 71-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman suffered an acute reaction to stress, and they are receiving medical assistance.
As a result of the last strike of the drone, a fire broke out in one of the largest markets of Kharkiv.
Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov made public details of destruction:
— In the Shevchenkivskyi district, the roof and a room of a private residential building caught fire due to the fall of fragments of a Shahed type drone. The area of the fire is 100 square meters.
— The fall of an enemy drone was recorded in Kholodnohirsky District. A car was involved, and as a result of the second drone hitting the ground, a residential building was damaged.
— In the Kyiv district, a restaurant building caught fire as a result of a drone strike.
— In the Industrial district, a car was damaged due to the blast wave and debris, and there was a fire.
At present, specialized services are eliminating the consequences of the attack, work on dismantling debris and extinguishing fires is ongoing.
