CNN released terrible footage of the execution of prisoners: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine demands a reaction from the world community

The American CNN channel released shocking footage of the shooting of two unarmed Ukrainian prisoners of war by the Russian military. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine sharply reacted to these shots, calling this crime part of systematic violations of international humanitarian law by the Russian Federation.

About this wrote the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Georgy Tykhi, on his page in the social network Kh.

“This war crime is part of Russia’s ongoing gross violations of international humanitarian law. Russian barbarism is a shame for humanity. We call on all states and international organizations to strongly condemn Russia’s systematic killings and torture of Ukrainian prisoners of war.”, – said Quiet.

The press secretary of the department called on the international community to immediately condemn the brutal actions of the Russian troops. He emphasized the importance of consolidating efforts to implement President Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s Peace Formula, which provides for the release of all illegally detained persons.

According to CNN, the video was shot at the end of August near the city of Pokrovsk and became another testimony to the brutal executions that have become more frequent over the past year.

“The soldiers get out and, staggering, stand in the middle of the dusty track, then on their knees, putting their hands on their heads. After a few seconds, the footage of the Ukrainian drone shows that they are lying face down, motionless, and the dust is rising nearby.”, – the television and radio company noted.

According to the information provided by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, since the beginning of the war, 28 such cases have been investigated, resulting in the death of 62 Ukrainian servicemen.
