Medical institutions in 15 regions of Ukraine received modern equipment from Germany

Ukrainian medical institutions received another batch of humanitarian aid from the German organization action medeor e.V. with the assistance of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany. Aid was sent to hospitals in 15 regions of Ukraine, informs press office of the Ministry of Health.
The equipment is intended to strengthen the health care system under martial law. The delivery includes ultrasound systems, anesthesia and respiratory equipment, and rapid diagnostic tests for hepatitis A.
Z60 ultrasound systems are equipped with two types of sensors — linear and convex, which allows for multidisciplinary examinations: from vascular diagnostics to obstetrics and gynecology procedures. Due to their mobility and high image quality, these devices are particularly effective in medical facilities with limited resources.
The Mindray A5 device is used for safe surgical interventions — it allows you to precisely control the parameters of the patient’s breathing, the level of anesthesia and the delivery of anesthetics. These systems are used in surgical, intensive care and emergency departments.
The HAV IgG/IgM tests provided also provide rapid detection of hepatitis A — both acute and chronic infection. This is especially relevant in places of increased risk of outbreaks, in particular among internally displaced persons, children and vulnerable categories of the population.
The Ministry of Health thanked international partners for their support, which helps ensure access of Ukrainians to quality medical care even in wartime conditions.
