More than 2000 children have already been evacuated from Kostiantynivka and Illinivka communities

Thanks to the prompt work of the rescuers, he was saved, but he received a serious injury – a broken leg. His car, which was supposed to be a means of rescue, was completely burned as a result of the shelling.

Rescue stories: the price of every decision

 

Unfortunately, this story is not the only one. Neighbors of this family also suffered from shelling. One of the men says that his wife was miraculously saved by leaving the room a few minutes before the walls of the house collapsed. She had to sleep on the sofa, which was covered by fragments of slabs. If she had stayed in the room, the tragedy could not have been avoided. Such cases serve as a reminder of how important it is to leave dangerous regions and evacuate to safe places.

The police, local authorities and volunteers constantly emphasize the importance of evacuation from the frontline areas. In the conditions of constant danger, life remains at risk, and every day of delay can cost the most precious thing – life. This applies not only to adults, but also to children, for whom the preservation of physical and emotional safety is of primary importance. Evacuation allows families to find refuge in calm regions where children can resume their studies, receive medical care and live without fear.

Evacuation from the frontline regions of Ukraine is not only a forced step, but also the best decision to save life. The events in Kostyantynivka and Illinivska hromada clearly demonstrate how important it is to make timely decisions about moving to safe places.
