Open Data Ambassadors has allocated grants worth UAH 400 thousand for the development of open data projects

Four Ukrainian projects aimed at the development of open data will receive funding under the Open Data Ambassadors program. About this informs Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
The support program aims to create innovative solutions and restore the country through the active use of open data.
From the 45 submitted applications, the jury chose four projects, each of which will receive over 100,000 hryvnias of grant support, as well as the opportunity to complete a personalized training program.
Among the winners:
- Andriy Khimchuk, project manager of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine, will develop a training course for judges of administrative courts.
- Vasyl Zadvorny, executive director of the NGO “Progress Technologies”, will create a course on data journalism, combining open data with artificial intelligence.
- Evgenia Glieser, co-founder of Choice31, will prepare a course for the business community.
- Pavlo Tkachenko, technical director of SaveDnipro NGO, will develop a radiation data monitoring system for the environmental sphere.
This initiative aims to popularize the use of open data to solve social, economic and environmental problems, as well as to promote the fight against corruption in Ukraine.
