Osamu Suzuki, former influential head of Suzuki Motor Corporation, died in Japan at the age of 94. The cause of death was malignant lymphoma. He passed away in a hospital in the city of Hamamatsu. About this informs Kyodo News.

Osamu Suzuki led the company for more than 40 years, from 1978 to 2021, serving as president, chairman and CEO. Under his leadership, Suzuki Motor Corporation expanded significantly, increasing sales tenfold from ¥300 billion to over ¥3 trillion.
