Russian troops are trying to break through to the administrative borders of Dnipropetrovsk region: OSUV “Khortytsia”

Fierce battles continue in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlovsk directions. Russian troops are trying to break through to the administrative borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region. About this reported Viktor Tregubov, spokesman for the “Khortytsia” OSU.

At the same time, losses among Russian forces are recorded in the Pokrovsky area.

“If there were 700 there before, then there are already about 800 per day, if we take the previous day. Again, there were seven knocked out tanks, it has been a long time, they use heavy equipment, in principle, to a limited extent. Therefore, in principle, it is clear that there are already enough forces gathered there and already thrown, so to speak, into active “meat grinders”, into active attempts of assault actions along, in principle, the entire dividing line”, – noted Tregubov.

The western part of the Pokrovsky direction and the Novopavlivskyi direction remain the hottest point of the front – it is there that the enemy is trying to advance in the direction of the administrative borders of the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions. Another active area is the eastern part of the Pokrovsky direction, where Russian forces are trying to break through in the direction of Kostiantynivka.

“We can’t call it the Kostiantynivka direction simply so as not to scare people, because Kostiantynivka is very far away there. But they are trying very hard to break through the Pokrovsk – Kostiantynivka highway, and some of the main assaults are concentrated there, and so there are large assaults, in which, in principle, heavy equipment is involved.” Tregubov emphasized.

In the Toretsk direction, the situation remains tense: the enemy controls the southern part and the center of Toretsk, but was unable to completely capture the city and advance further in the direction of the highway to Kostyantynivka.

“Chasiv Yar, in principle, is identical to Toretsk. In fact, it is very similar. The Russians really wanted to come, the Russians made every effort, it seemed until the last moment that they might succeed. But, let’s say, in the last kilometers, the Russians exhaled, and they exhaled there for a long time, and got stuck, and they cannot advance there for a long time. Therefore, both Toretsk and Chasiv Yar are actually ruins bridges, on which the Russians have not been able to advance for months,” – added the spokesman of the “Khortytsia” OSU.
