Sibiga and Blinken hold important talks: Ukrainian Foreign Minister announces ‘historic decisions’

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiga held telephone talks with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, after which he announced the adoption of “historic decisions”. About this Sybig reported on his page in the social network X (Twitter), calling the conversation productive.

As part of our regular dialogue, a productive telephone conversation took place with Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to discuss the results of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s visit to the United States and to coordinate further steps that will lead to historic decisions and bring our victory closer

It will be recalled that during his visit to the United States, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented the so-called “Victory Plan”, which is aimed at ending the war with Russia. The American side positively evaluated this plan, noting its potentially “productive steps”, but neither Ukraine nor the USA have yet disclosed any details.

During the visit, Zelensky met not only with US President Joe Biden, but also discussed the “Victory Plan” with the main candidates for the upcoming US presidential elections. Summing up the trip, the Ukrainian leader expressed confidence that Russia can be forced to respect international rules by force, and Ukraine received full support for its peace strategy.

Secretary of State Blinken also confirmed that the United States is studying in detail the plan presented by the Ukrainian president, preparing the next steps that will help Ukraine win the war with Russia. US President Joe Biden previously stated that Ukraine will win this war, and the US will continue to support it on this path.
