The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the Russians near Shevchenko and Udachne, but retreated in other areas: DeepState
On January 22, the Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully repelled enemy attacks near the settlements of Shevchenko and Udachne. At the same time, Russian troops advanced in other areas of the Donetsk region, informs DeepState.
“The Defense Forces of Ukraine repulsed the enemy near Shevchenko and in Udachny. The enemy advanced in Velyka Novosilka, near Vozdvizhenka, Slovianka, and Srybny”, – says the message.
Russian troops are trying to establish control over Velika Novosilka in Donetsk region, aiming to cut off the road from Zeleny Pol and take the settlement without active fighting in the urban area.
Russian troops are also bypassing Pokrovsk from the south, advancing towards Dnipropetrovsk region. Currently, their movement is directed towards the settlements of Kotlyne and Udachne, located along the Mezhova-Pokrovsk highway.
