28 Chinese aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait, which unofficially demarcates mainland China and the island, and entered Taiwan’s northern, central and southwestern air defense zones. China regularly sends warplanes and ships to Taiwan, rehearsing the elements of possible military operations, including air and sea attacks and a blockade.
