Kellogg officially became Trump’s special representative for Ukraine and Russia

US President Donald Trump signed a decree appointing Keith Kellogg as a special representative for Ukraine and Russia. About this informs “Voice of America”.
“We have made significant progress regarding Russia and Ukraine,” Trump said
Back in November of last year, it became known that Trump chose retired General Kellogg as his assistant and special representative on the Ukrainian-Russian issue. Kellogg developed his strategy for Ukraine together with Fred Fleitz, who also served as Trump’s National Security Council chief of staff.
He proposed freezing the conflict along the current front line and forcing Russia and Ukraine to sit down at the negotiating table. According to their plan, the US would tell Ukraine that further military aid would depend on its participation in peace talks.
At the same time, Russia would be warned that refusing negotiations would lead to increased American support for Ukraine. The question of Ukraine’s membership in NATO would be temporarily removed from the agenda.
