North Korea plans to use the combat experience gained in Ukraine in the war against its neighbors: the United States
The participation of the North Korean military in the war against Ukraine gives the DPRK the opportunity to gain valuable combat experience, which increases its ability to wage war against neighboring countries. This was stated by Deputy Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations Dorothy Camilla Shea, informs Reuters.
More than 12,000 North Korean soldiers are currently in Russia, where they are participating in hostilities in the Kursk region. This indicates close cooperation between Russia and North Korea.
“North Korea benefits greatly from the supply of Russian military equipment, technology and combat experience, making it more capable of waging war against its neighbors.”, – noted Shi.
In response, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasyl Nebenzia, denied the US accusations of the transfer of satellite and space technologies to Pyongyang, calling them “groundless”. During the meeting, he congratulated the leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un, on his birthday.
In turn, South Korea’s ambassador to the UN, Hwang Junkuk, said that the North Korean military are “Kim Jong-un’s slaves” who were forced to sacrifice their lives on foreign battlefields in order to provide the regime with finances and receive advanced military technology from Russia.
