The Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive the first Ukrainian Inguar-3 armored vehicles

The Ukrainian military will receive the first batch of domestic Inguar-3 armored vehicles. This technique was modified according to the requirements of the soldiers of the Defense Forces, who tested it in 2024. About this reported CEO and co-founder of Inguar Defense Artem Yushchuk.

According to him, the serial armored vehicles are equipped with an EW system, which can be controlled directly from the cabin using a separate console. In addition, the military emphasized the need for anti-drone grids or places to install them. In response to this, the company is developing a solution that will allow armored vehicles to be retrofitted with anti-drone protection at the factory.

Instead of mirrors, Inguar-3 has side view cameras installed. As Artem Yushchuk noted, this decision justified itself 100%, therefore the technology will be implemented in the entire line of military equipment.

“When moving during the day and at night, the cameras have the ability to switch modes, that is, we do not have discomfort when displaying the image regardless of the time of day”, – explained Artem Yushchuk.

The company is currently developing a remote-controlled combat module for an armored vehicle. It will be stabilized and will allow the installation of a large-caliber Browning M2 12.7 mm machine gun or a Mk-19 automatic grenade launcher, which will be paired with a 7.62 mm PKT machine gun.

The design of the medical evacuation version of the armored car is also underway, probably with a rear apparatus for faster evacuation of the wounded. Inguar-3 is a Ukrainian light multi-purpose armored vehicle of the MRAP class, developed by the Inguar Defense company. The official presentation of the car took place in March 2023.

The armored vehicle is available in various modifications with two chassis options: 4×4 and 6×6. It is equipped with two fuel tanks and is protected against an armor-piercing 7.62×54 mm bullet fired from a rifle, and is also able to withstand an explosion of 8 kg of TNT under the wheel or the bottom.
