On the night of April 17, Dnipro suffered a massive attack by Shahed kamikaze drones carried out by Russian troops. As a result of the shelling, several fires broke out, there were dead and wounded. About this informs head of Dnipropetrovsk OVA Serhiy Lysak.
“Several fires broke out in Dnipro due to an unmanned aerial vehicle attack. Houses, educational and cultural institutions were damaged. Cars were mutilated. Ordinary citizens, especially children, were frightened.” – says the message.
Mayor of the city Boris Filatov noted, which damaged at least 15 buildings, including student dormitories, premises of an educational institution and a food enterprise. Surveys of the territory continued until the morning, special attention was paid to the private sector. The city hospitals provide assistance to the wounded. The total number of victims increased to 28 people, including four children.
“The Russians took the lives of 3 people, including 1 child. Previously, 28 people were injured, including 4 children”, — clarified in the State Emergency Service.
As a result of the UAV attack, several fires broke out in the city, which at that moment were completely extinguished. 173 rescuers and 37 units of emergency services were involved in liquidation of the consequences.
