The Cabinet of Ministers approved the Strategy for the formation of a system for returning from military service to civilian life
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the Strategy for the formation of the system for the transition of military personnel to civilian life, which will be in effect until 2033. About this reported permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.
“The Strategy for the formation of the system of returning from military service to civilian life for the period until 2033 was approved and the operational plan of measures for its implementation in 2025-2027 was approved.” – the message says.
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs, which developed the document for the implementation of the Presidential Decree, emphasized that the strategy initiates institutional reform to create a system of support for veterans in returning to civilian life in Ukraine. It is also aimed at strengthening state management in this area, which will help defenders successfully adapt to a peaceful life.
“Today the government made an important decision. In the conditions of a large-scale war, the issue of supporting defenders and war veterans takes on special importance. The implementation of the system of returning from military service to civilian life will strengthen national stability and security and bring Ukraine closer to the standards of EC, HATO member states. – noted the Minister of Veterans Affairs Nataliya Kalmykova.
In addition to the strategy itself, an operational plan for its implementation for 2025–2027 was approved.
