In Ukraine, the use of fuel and spare parts for cars received by the military as humanitarian aid was regulated
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine regulated the use of fuel and spare parts for cars that the military received as humanitarian aid. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Defense.
“Military units will be able to write off property that was used to service cars received by servicemen as humanitarian aid. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has amended Clause 16 of the Regulation on the procedure for accounting, storage, writing off and use of military property in the Armed Forces.” – says the message.
The new rules establish a mechanism for writing off used fuel and lubricants and spare parts that were spent on the repair and restoration of vehicles received as humanitarian aid.
This applies to cars that are on temporary state registration in the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and are used to perform defense tasks in accordance with the procedure determined by the Ministry of Defense.
The adopted decision will contribute to the correct accounting of military property spent on the maintenance of such vehicles. The changes implement the provisions of the Law of Ukraine dated November 8, 2023. No. 3448-IX on the importation, accounting and distribution of humanitarian aid.
