The Dnipro film studio asked Zelensky for protection from the “arbitrariness of law enforcement officers and judges”

Employees of the Dnipro film studio “Original Spirit Yua” turned to to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, with a request to protect them from the “arbitrariness of law enforcement officers” and to help save jobs.
“We are forced to address you in connection with the unprecedented arbitrariness of law enforcement officers and the judicial system, which threatens the existence of our company, investments and jobs of our employees.
Behind the attack on the business are specific law enforcement officers and judges who serve their “interests” – this is the head of the Main Investigative Department of the National Police Maksym Tsutskuridze and investigative judges of the Sviatoshyn District Court of Kyiv Lyudmila Kosyk, Anatoliy Yaselskyi and Oleksandr Zhuribeda. – it is stated in the appeal.
According to representatives of the film studio, “Original Spirit Yua” has been operating in Ukraine quite legally since 2021, engaged in the production of video content for online games for further export to international markets.
“We are a licensed business, have paid more than UAH 30 million in taxes, invested more than UAH 100 million in the economy, and employ more than 100 specialists. These are mostly women who single-handedly support their families. However, for the second time in the last year and a half, our company has become a victim of illegal criminal prosecution, which is more like an attempt at racketeering and racketeering.
The law enforcement officers, in violation of all procedures, conducted a multi-day search, seized equipment and property, unjustifiably seized the equipment, causing us losses of UAH 84 million., – noted in the film studio.
The company appealed to the court with a demand to cancel the illegal arrests and return the property.
