The head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Fedorov, announced an even greater use of artificial intelligence in government processes

The Ministry of Digital Transformation is actively working on the implementation of artificial intelligence in state processes. About this stated Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during the “Conductors of Change” forum organized by Deloitte on September 25.
The official emphasized that each line of work needs its own unique projects, but special emphasis is currently being placed on the development of artificial intelligence.
“And a separate direction, which in general will now become fundamental, end-to-end for every industry that we care about, where we form policy, it will, of course, be artificial intelligence.”, – Fedorov said.
He emphasized that Ukraine should become a leader in this field, not only keeping up with world trends, but also ahead of other countries.
“We have risen from the 102nd place in the world to the fifth place in five years. But we need to take the first place, precisely artificial intelligence and automation – the direction that is now a priority for us”, – said the head of the department.
The Ministry plans to hold meetings with leading IT companies of Ukraine to discuss opportunities for cooperation and business involvement in projects in the field of artificial intelligence. This will allow to combine the efforts of the state and the private sector to accelerate the development of digital technologies.
We will remind that thanks to the Avengers artificial intelligence platform, developed by the Innovation Center of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Defense Forces automatically detect about 12 thousand units of enemy equipment every week. Also, Ukrainian drones with artificial intelligence have successfully struck Russia’s energy infrastructure, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the use of advanced technologies in the military sphere.
