The IMF mission has started its work in Ukraine

On February 20, the mission of the International Monetary Fund began work in Kyiv. As part of the visit, negotiations are planned with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities regarding another review of the cooperation program. About this informs representative office of the IMF in Kyiv.
“The IMF mission led by Gavin Gray is starting today in Kyiv to discuss the seventh revision of the Enhanced Financing Program (EFF) with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities”, – said Prishila Tofano, permanent representative of the fund in Ukraine.
We will remind that on March 31, 2023, the IMF approved a four-year Extended Financing Program for Ukraine for a total amount of 15.6 billion dollars.
In almost two years of the program, Ukraine has already successfully passed six revisions, which was an unprecedented case in the history of cooperation with the IMF. This made it possible to obtain loans for 9.8 billion dollars. In 2025, Ukraine can count on $2.7 billion from the IMF based on the results of four quarterly reviews.
