The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine became the first unit to fully integrate the “Army+” digital application. At the General Staff reported, that all military units of the Navy have already processed at least one electronic report that was either approved or rejected with a reason.
Digitization of military processes is actively spreading among other units of the Armed Forces. Special operations forces processed electronic reports in 96% of their units, and Airborne assault troops – in 93%. At the same time, the absolute leader among all military units was the 148th separate Zhytomyr Artillery Brigade, which has already processed more than 700 reports through “Army+”.
“This is like a real competition in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who will be the first to transfer all their units to work in a digital format. I would also like to note the Operational Command “West” of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Like the Navy, all their military units began to process reports through the application“, said Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization.
Previously, the “Army+” application had the function of submitting a report on a change of service location. Also, five new types of electronic reports were added to the system, which cover different stages of military service. This emphasizes the importance of digitalization as one of the key directions of army reform.
