The Ministry of Defense involves employers in the defense industry in the implementation of a quality assurance system

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is active attracts employers from the sector of the defense-industrial complex before the implementation of the system of state guaranteeing the quality of defense products. For this purpose, a memorandum was concluded between the Ministry of Defense and the All-Ukrainian Union of Employers’ Organizations of the Aviation, Space, Rocket, Shipbuilding and Other High-Tech Industries of the Armed Forces (FRU Defense).

Within the framework of the agreements, the Ministry of Defense undertakes to provide enterprises with up-to-date information and consultations regarding changes in national and international quality standards, as well as to coordinate the implementation of quality assurance systems at production facilities.

Ensuring compliance with military standards will allow defense enterprises to produce products that meet the highest quality requirements and needs of the Armed Forces, which is especially important in a state of war, when every order is critical to national security.

FRU Defense, which is part of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, unites a number of enterprises of high-tech industries and has undertaken to inform them about the advantages of implementing quality management systems in accordance with military standards. These requirements are in line with the NATO AQAP series standards.

AQAP standards are an international system of norms used by NATO member countries to ensure the high quality of defense products. The implementation of such standards in Ukraine will allow the production of products that meet international requirements and have the potential to be exported to the countries of the Alliance.
