Ministry of Defense of Ukraine notes growth in the number of appeals to recruiting centers. Over the past week, 1,226 citizens applied there, and the total number of consultations provided since the centers began operating reached 46,883.
“The previous week was the best in March in terms of the number of appeals to recruitment centers”, – says the message on the website of the Ministry of Defense.
Of all those who applied to the centers, 9,550 candidates started the procedure of registration for military service. In particular, during the past week, 171 citizens decided to join the Defense Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense noted.
The share of women among those who applied to recruitment centers is 21% of the total number of consultations. The largest number of women was recorded in Chernivtsi region — 42%, as well as in Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia — 39% each, and Ternopil — 34%.
We will remind that 49 recruiting centers of the Ukrainian army operate in Ukraine, including one online center. Most of them are located in the premises of the centers for the provision of administrative services. On the territory of the centers, it is forbidden to hold mobilization events or hand out summonses by alert groups.
