The Pentagon has released data on the balance of funding for Ukraine

The Pentagon reported that as of November 12, the United States still has resources to provide Ukraine with weapons and equipment worth more than $9 billion. This was stated by Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder, informs “Voice of America”.

Specifically, $7.1 billion is available through the president’s reduction order. Of that amount, $4.3 billion was approved by Congress in April, and another $2.8 billion was made available through calculations at the US Department of Defense.

In addition, about 2.2 billion dollars is reserved for a program that allows the United States to purchase weapons for Ukraine from manufacturers.

We will continue to provide assistance and intend to use available funds to ensure that Ukraine receives everything it needs to deter and fight Russian aggression“, said the representative of the US Ministry of Defense.

On November 7, Politico reported that the White House intends to send over $6 billion in aid to Ukraine by the time President-elect Donald Trump officially takes office.

Trump’s position on aid to Ukraine

Donald Trump and his chosen vice president, James David Vance, have previously repeatedly criticized the Joe Biden administration for spending on military aid to Ukraine.

Also, Trump has repeatedly stated that he plans to achieve an end to the war by the time he returns to the White House, which could make military aid a tool of influence on Kyiv and Moscow.
