The reform of the Military Medical Commission will take place in three stages: Ministry of Defense

The reform of military medical commissions (MMC) will start on February 28, 2025 and will be implemented in three stages. About this reported Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

She noted that the first stage will fully relate to the digitalization of processes within the Ministry of Defense.

“The first is the possibility to form an electronic referral to the VLK through “Rezerv+”. Why is this important? Because now, in order to get a referral, you have to physically go to the TCC and stand in line to get a piece of paper. From February 28, this will go down in history, because it will be possible do it through “Reserve+”, – explained the deputy minister.

Another important change will be the introduction of an electronic form of VLK resolutions. All commission decisions will be recorded electronically and automatically entered into the “Oberig” register, which will significantly optimize the process of data storage and exchange.

“We are making the next stage of the reform with the Ministry of Health. This is when a person will be able to undergo a medical examination in any medical institution convenient for him. This information will be sent automatically to the Ministry of Defense and there will be no queues and collapses at the medical examination.” – noted Chernogorenko.

According to the official, the reform should be completed during the first half of 2025.
