The Russian army attacked Odessa with drones: a high-rise building was significantly damaged, there are casualties
On the night of July 3, Odessa was attacked by drones, as a result of which a residential high-rise building was seriously damaged. Medical assistance is provided to the injured. About this informs the mayor of the city Gennadiy Trukhanov.
“An operational headquarters is working near the house damaged as a result of the attack. The rescuers freed five people who were blocked on the upper floors. Among them are two children. All of them are receiving the necessary assistance. Three victims were hospitalized.” – says the message.
A preliminary inspection showed serious damage to one of the entrances. Staying there is dangerous. After dismantling the emergency elements, specialists will conduct a detailed analysis of the condition of the building, which will allow determining a further plan of action.
In the State Emergency Service clarified, that as a result of an enemy attack, a nine-story building was damaged, the fire engulfed the premises from the seventh to the ninth floor. Rescuers evacuated 50 residents, among them 10 people, including two children, were rescued with the help of special equipment. Four people were injured.
