In Kherson, a Russian air bomb hit a 10-storey building, there are casualties

Russian troops attacked Kherson with guided aerial bombs. One of them hit a 10-story building. So far, 6 victims are known, informs Oleksandr Prokudin, head of Kherson OVA.

As a result of the impact, 15 apartments were destroyed – from the first to the tenth floor of one of the entrances. In addition, windows were broken in 80 houses. Currently, six victims are known, two of whom were rescued by the State Emergency Service from the eighth and ninth floors of the destroyed building.

14-year-old twins – a boy and a girl – are in the hospital. Doctors assess their condition as satisfactory. A 47-year-old man was also hospitalized, who was in the parking lot attendant’s room near the place of the explosion at the time of the impact. He received a shrapnel wound and a broken leg.

Three more men were treated on the spot by the ambulance crew. The victims were diagnosed with contusions, and one of the Kherson residents was diagnosed with a head injury. The operative headquarters of the Kherson OVA works on the spot.

About 120 rescuers and 35 pieces of equipment were involved in the liquidation of the consequences, including rescuers, policemen, doctors, utility workers, volunteers and representatives of the city authorities. People may still remain under the rubble. Currently, the analysis of the destruction and the search for the victims is ongoing.
