Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Malyuk during meeting He informed the Congress of local and regional authorities about the attempt organized against the head of Kherson OVA Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to him, a local resident was detained in the Kherson region, who cooperated with Russian special services to organize an attempt. A new sample of the enemy FPV drone was launched from a depth of 12 kilometers. The detainee, being at the scene, carried out visual observation and adjusted fire on Prokudin’s car. Thanks to the vigilance of the Ukrainian special services, the attempt was prevented, and the drone was successfully landed.
Malyuk also emphasized that the Russian military has intensified its activities not only on the front line, but also constantly tries to penetrate deep into the country in the role of agents.
“The SBU counters the enemy’s penetration of critical infrastructure facilities, including through cyberspace. We block attempts to spy on the routes of international aid and the locations of defense industry enterprises“, – noted the head of the Security Service.
