On February 4, Russian troops struck the center of Izyum in the Kharkiv region with a ballistic missile. According to preliminary data, five people died, another 20 were injured. About this reported Oleg Sinegubov, head of OVA.
“An enemy attack on Izyum. According to preliminary data, the occupiers used a ballistic missile. Four people were killed. At the moment, 20 people are injured, five of them are hospitalized in a medical institution. The enemy hit the central part of the city.
Another 1 person is under the rubble. Elimination of consequences continues. Administrative buildings were partially destroyed, a five-story residential building was damaged. Rescue workers, emergency medical assistance, canine service are working,” – says the message.

Later, Oleg Sinegubov added that the number of wounded had increased to 24. Among them was a 15-year-old girl who received a shrapnel wound.
The head of the MBA Valery Marchenko clarified the details of the hit:
“The administrative building itself, another administrative building located nearby, multi-story buildings were damaged. There were no military personnel here. These are the buildings in which our services worked: tax, social security, treasury. Civilians died, apparently they were near the passport desk. Five wounded were hospitalized on average condition, others with minor injuries. The previous attack on the city was more than three months ago.”
