Poroshenko explained why he missed 65% of the votes in the Verkhovna Rada

Petro Poroshenko, leader of the “European Solidarity” faction explained, why he missed 65% of the votes in the Verkhovna Rada. According to him, only 10% of issues in the parliament concern the army, and the rest, in his opinion, are not a priority.

According to the “Chesno” Movement, Poroshenko missed 65% of the votes. At the same time, the politician himself clarified that he did not miss the meeting, but rather the voting, since for him the first priority is the support of the army.

“We can sit and deal with unnecessary things in the parliament, because the agenda of the parliament – only 10% of issues are related to defense. The rest – this is what the parliament should not deal with now. And I miss such votes.” – said the people’s deputy.

Poroshenko named inter-parliamentary diplomacy and international activity in second place among his priorities:

“Of course, my authority, my acquaintances, my connections allow me to effectively help solve international problems in my Ukraine”.

He identified parliamentary work as the third priority, which, according to him, is not limited only to participation in voting: “I’m not a button pusher”.
